BOM Console© is a single GUI based workbench that consolidates navigations among multiple forms into a single workbench. This single workbench easily facilitates viewing and updating the whole indented BOM structure and associated details.

By altering different sub-components at any level downstream, all on a single workbench, it offers big advantage to design engineers and industrial engineers (who are working with Oracle Bills Of Materials) by facilitating management / maintenance of the complete design process of an assembly, its downstream manufactureable components, item details and assembly cost simulations.

The whole BOM structure for big assemblies can be created easily on this workbench while it graphically expands / updates the BOM tree. For updating design of a specific component at a specific level ( tree branch), just select the node / tree branch on the tree; all corresponding details for that node will show up. It also visually shows the effectiveness of a particular component at any level of the assembly, there by alerting the design engineer for corrective action.

The industrial engineers gain further advantage from BOM Console© by its ability to manage /create/ maintain routs for any associated manufactureable node. This substantially minimizes the overall engagement proportions of a design engineer on an assembly. BOM Console© is so intuitive in design and functionality that training requirement on this product is almost negligible. Its architecture renders a seamless transition for the users from the inquiry form in the standard Oracle BOM module and other forms.
